Earth-FM 103.3/95.9 - WRTH is in search of the next co-host of the Love in the Morning show. Earth- FM is produced live and local in all key dayparts and is committed to having our feet on the street and our ears to the ground. Our team is committed to pushing and improving our product and to delivering a distinctive and influential sound to our audience.

Earth FM, a Classic Hits formatted station, is part of Salem Media Group in Greenville. Love in the Morning is a full-service show that combines entertaining, topical talk including celebrity and community interviews along with the best music of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s wrapped up with a robust social media presence.  Salem Media serves our Upstate South Carolina communities with two additional, co-located radio stations:  94.5 WGTK - The Answer, and 96.9 Lite FM

As a member of our team, here’s what your role would entail:

• Co-Hosting a live daily Morning Drive program with primary host, Bill Love, on Earth FM from 5:45am – 10am every Monday-Friday.
• Show preparation, including but not limited to, researching and generating show topics, collaborating on show flow, and developing insightful and entertaining viewpoints.  Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn, stretch and grow are critical.
• Participate and help lead station promotion and community events.  You would be considered a major public-facing presence and ambassador for Earth-FM.
• Regularly utilizing digital and social media platforms to extend the reach of the Earth FM brand.
• Working with the station sales department to help develop effective advertising campaigns with appropriate client brands through the use of endorsements and appearances.

Here are some of the things you would need to succeed in this role:

• A minimum of three (3) years of entertainment, preferably radio, experience.
• A working knowledge of local, regional, and national current events in the realm of popular culture, community happenings, and the political climate.
• The ability to think and respond “on your feet” to situations and scenarios that can change quickly
• Organized in planning and effectively executing an active professional schedule.
• A true understanding of what it takes to be a team player and understanding that the team is what makes the station, not the individual.   
• Be able to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently and effectively.
• Goal & achievement oriented with an innate desire to constantly strive for improvement - which means being able to receive coaching and to give and receive constructive, creative criticism. 

What is the compensation?

• We offer a base salary plus the opportunity to receive additional compensation from advertiser endorsements and appearances.
