Life Baptist Church of West LA (LBC), affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, has a motto, “Life in Christ, Life Together.” Our lives have been radically transformed by the love of Jesus Christ, and together as a church, our mission is to share this love with others.
LBC is a predominantly English-speaking, Asian American congregation with an active membership of college students, young professionals, and families. LBC has a close family feel with an average weekly attendance of 30-40 people, and we are seeking to grow our community. We hold a strong commitment to God’s Word, highly value serving in ministry together, and have a contemporary style of worship. LBC has long-running college ministries on the campuses of UCLA and USC emphasizing Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, outreach, and fellowship.
LBC recently relocated its worship service to the Culver City Teen Center, a central location in the city, and we are seeking to minister more effectively to the local community. Deemed the “Heart of Screenland,” Culver City is home to an ethnically diverse community, Sony Pictures Entertainment, many tech companies, and ongoing development projects.
