We are Calvary Baptist Church, and by God's grace, we have a 75-year history of Gospel-centered ministry in the city of Yankton, SD. Though we started in a living room, our congregation is now a multigenerational mix of over 500 regular attendees and members. Our adult ministries are currently comprised of ten community groups of various sizes, our Student Ministries are weekly reaching 60 to 80 students from 7th through 12th grades, our children's ministries are reaching over 120 kids per week, we are averaging four visiting families per week, and we have a daycare service that daily serves over 100 kids. We are a community of believers committed to reproducing devoted followers of Jesus, of all ages, who love and obey Him. Our mission is
and we accomplish this in a variety of Biblically principled ways that are resourced by an annual budget of over $1.6 million. Besides our weekend worship and spiritual formation groups, we serve our community through our daycare, preschool, and community collaborations giving us a connection to scores of unchurched families.
