Senior attorney Gary W. Smith first opened LawSmith in 1974. After years of successful law practice Gary enrolled in seminary where he earned his M.Div. and became an ordained pastor. Gary pastored a church for several years. However, in 2009 Gary re-established LawSmith with a focus on seeking justice for "the least of these."
Responsibilities: Must represent all clients with excellence and respect. Organization, motivation, and the ability to smoothly interact with a team of paralegals and legal assistants under the direction of the senior attorney are essential qualities. Litigation experience and the ability to coordinate litigation efforts for the firm are necessary requirements. The associate attorney will be expected to develop litigation strategies and tactics, and advocate for clients at hearings, mediations, and trial, as necessary.
Requisite experience: Juris Doctorate in Law; Member in good standing, State Bar of Georgia; Research proficiency and basic computer skills.
