* Spiritual Component
Support the official mission of the church, “Help people discover and experience the life-changing love of Christ”. Commit and continue to pray for God’s vision for PCC including the congregation and staff. Work within the leadership team in conjunction with staff to help implement God’s vision.
* Student Ministry Component
Work closely with volunteer Youth Staff including interns and provide opportunities for involvement and training. Communicate with parents and help provide direction for students. Provide pastoral care to families and/or students as needed and as equipped. Organize and lead weekly large and small group meetings, events, activities, conferences, mission trips and retreats in conjunction with other ministries when appropriate. Oversee and nurture interns where applicable.
* Additional Ministry Component
When requested by the Senior Pastor, prepare and deliver Biblical messages to the congregation. Function as a member of PCC’s pastoral staff performing baptisms, weddings, funerals, etc. as needed.
* Additional Administrative Component
Suggest improvements in procedures/policies, as needed. Respond to emails, phone calls, texts and other forms of communication in a timely manner (typically within 24 hours). Communicate any issues and concerns to the Sr. Pastor as they are known. Develop an annual budget for worship and student ministries and oversee the allocation of the budget. Support the activities of PCC ministries which relate to Worship and Youth Ministry.
- Attend Leadership Team meetings
- Attend the annual congregation meeting (January)
PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE ALSO SEEKING A PT WORSHIP MINISTER SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AND CAPABLE OF LEADING WORSHIP MUSIC, AS WELL, THIS COULD BE A FULL-TIME POSITION WHEN COMBINED.
