Job Position: Kid's Ministry Director

Position Description
The Kid's Ministry Director will lead the ministry for children from birth to 5th grade, creating opportunities for large and small group interactions to encourage families to discover Life in Jesus.
Qualifications:
The Kid's Ministry Director position requires the following qualifications:

- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt
- Commitment to becoming a member of Silver Creek Church
- Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- Strong skills in leadership, organization, and communication
- Creativity, energy, and a sense of adventure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Bring vision, leadership, and care to kids' families and leader teams.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, leaders, and staff. Provide support and guidance as needed.
- Lead and encourage team staff to lead kids' ministry programs and events.
- Ensure children from birth through 5th grade have a safe and nurturing environment.
- Plan and coordinate special events and activities, including Vacation Bible Camp, Fall Fest, and outreach opportunities.
- Help with administrative tasks as needed, such as CCB & Planning Center Online database.
- Create an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum that fosters spiritual growth and development in children.
- Recruit, train, and empower a team of leaders to serve in various capacities within the kid's ministry program.
- Collaborate with other ministry leaders to integrate kids ministry with other church events and initiatives.
- Recruit, train, and co-lead the paid childcare staff team.
- Attend appropriate staff meetings.
Hours - The Kid's Director is a full-time position with 32 hours per weekly work schedule.

- Reports Directly to the Director of Ministry Operations
