Summary of Role: Lead our congregation in worship and discipleship through Scripture reading, testimonies, teaching, communion, pastoring, music, & new experiences to deepen our culture through daily & corporate worship.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily a discipleship position, serving our congregation in seeking Jesus, becoming like Him, and doing the things he did. Be engaged in and lead our effort in the Encounter Disciple Mobilize mission.
- Develop the worship services with the Lead Pastor to lead the church in thought, prayer, praise, and contemplation.
- Lead, organize, & develop multiple teams (band, production, preparation, etc.) in the context of our corporate gatherings and our mission/vision.
- Evaluate and improve our corporate worship & prayer services.
- Assist the Student and Kids ministry in the areas of music and worship.
- Oversee the technical side of our services (sound, lighting, slides, cameras, and online services).
- Cooperate and coordinate with other ministries that engages with the worship ministry.
